Youths employed in Canda provide relief to Dang flood victims
KATHMANDU: Six local youths currently working in Canada have contributed Rs 100,000 as relief assistance to the flood victims of Deukhuri.
More than 200 houses of different VDCs in the Deukhuri area here were inundated by flood some two weeks back.
The youths collected the fund with contributions from their salary after they heard about the massive inundation in Deukhuri area through news.
Mumalal Pandey, father of one of the youths, on Monday handed over the check for that amount to Ganga Ram Bhattarai, president of the Nepal Red Cross Society, Lalmatiya branch for distributing the amount to the affected families. RSS
