WWF selects Miss Nepal as its youth conservation ambassador
KATHMANDU: The World Wildlife Fund had given Miss Nepal Shristi Shrestha of 2012 the title of youth conservation ambassador. At the programme organized by the fund on Monday, fund’s Nepal representative Anil Manandhar while giving her the title, urged her to disseminate positive message in the society by being active in rare wildlife conservation.
Miss Nepal Shrestha said she would play key role in making the conservation of snow leopard campaign successful.
The fund has been doing co-work with the Eco-club for wild life conservation and for maintaining clean and green environment in the society.
Earlier, the fund had given such titles to Payal Shakya, Sugarika KC, Shitasma Chand, Jenisa Moktan, Sadiksha Shaha and Malina Joshi. RSS
