Violations of election code of conduct on rise: President Deuba
KATHMANDU: Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba has urged the election commission to be serious as activities of violating the election code of conduct was on rise.
Speaking in a programme organized by Nepal Women Association Kailali chapter here today, President Deuba argued that the election codes were being violated these days to influence the upcoming by-election.
On another note, he said that the government was not meeting people’s aspirations and feelings.
President Deuba, also former Prime Minister said that the political map recently issued by India was wrong as it had included Nepali territories inside India. President Deuba urged the government to resolve the border issues trough diplomatic channel.
