VDC Secy to get Rs 1500 per month extra as an allowance

KATHMANDU:
The government has decided to provide additional Rs. 1,500 per month to VDC secretaries as an incentive allowance, to be managed from VDC grant.
The cabinet meeting held today the Singha Durbar this morning also decided to appoint Sitaram Agrawal as the Chairman of the Nepal Television for four years of term.
According to the Minister of Information and Communication and Spokesperson Raj Kishor Yadav, the meeting  has approved the visit to India which the Chief of Army Staff (CoAS), Gaurab Shumsher Rana in the second week of January 2013.
The Council of Ministers’ meeting likewise decided to authorize the Secretary at the Ministry of Commerce for signing on the Nepal-India Transit Treaty whose term expires in 2013 for a period until 2020.
