US Maintains Nuclear Triad, Adds Two More Nuclear Capabilities
(VOA): Nearly 30 years after the end of the Cold War, nuclear defense and deterrence is now back in the spotlight. The Pentagon presented a new nuclear plan this month that will modernize its air, land and sea-launched nuclear defense, also known as the nuclear triad, while making two changes to its nuclear arsenal.
