UN Under-Secretary-General Nakamitsu to visit Nepal

KATHMANDU: UN Under-Secretary-General and High Representative for Disarmament Affairs, Izumi Nakamitsu, is visiting Nepal from 1-3 April.
Ministry of Foreign Affairs mentioned in a press release that during the visit, Ms. Nakamitsu will call on Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli, Minister for Foreign Affairs, Pradeep Kumar Gyawali, and Foreign Secretary Shanker Das Bairagi.
The High Representative will depart from Kathmandu on 3 April.
Nepal hosts United Nations Regional Centre for Peace and Disarmament for Asia and the Pacific (UNRCPD) in Kathmandu and supports initiatives to peace and disarmament in the world.
