UML youths revert to traditional way to pull down PM Bhattarai
KATHMANDU: CPN-UML’s youth wing, Youth Association Nepal (YAN) enforced a chakkajaam at New Baneswor this afternoon for 30 minutes, demanding resignation of the incumbent government.
The YAN representatives on the occasion called announcement of date for fresh election based on a consensus and provision of franchise right to youth aged 16 and above.
The youth activists holding banners and placards reading ‘form consensus-based national government’, ‘safeguard nationality and social harmony’ and ‘institutionalize outcomes of People’s Movement’ chanted different slogans against the government.
