UML’s Janjati, Muslim leaders in Dhulikhel to chart out future course

KATHMANDU: Unsatisfied Janajati and Madheshi leaders within the CPN UML have started discussions to charter out future course of actions.

While Chairman Jhalnath Khanal was warning to take actions against them if they denied to follow party’s official line of federalism, these leaders gathered at the Mirabel resort in Dhulikhel.

The meeting participated by Vice Chairman Ashok Rai, Ram Chandra Jha along with other leaders, is scheduled to discuss the options including formation of a new party or resorting to other alternatives informed a source.

The source informed that the meeting is participated by 22 leaders who claim that the party leadership had failed to address the issues related to Janajati and Madheshis.
