UML, MC merger committees submit reports

KATHMANDU: The party unity coordination committees today submitted their reports to the chairs of both CPN (UML) and CPN (Maoist Centre).
The organizational and political ideological reports prepared by UML leader Madhav Kumar Nepal and MC leader Ram Bahadur Thapa led committees submitted their reports in the meeting held at Prime Minister’s official residence in Baluwatar in the capital today.

The reports were presented to UML chair KP Sharma Oli and MC chair Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ to give them a final shape. Both committees have recommended for the party unification date on April 22.

MC leader Narayan Kaji Shrestha, following the meeting, shared that the party merger committee meeting to be held on Wednesday will take decision in this regard.

Similarly, UML leader Subas Nembang, also a member of the committee, said that they had suggested the leadership to finalize the reports very soon as some issues are yet to be finalized for the unification process.
