UML Chief heads for foreign trip trampling party ruling

KATHMANDU: CPN UML Chairman Jhalnath Khanal flew to India trampling party’s earlier ruling that restricted party lawmakers from going on foreign trips.

Khanal flew for India on Thursday morning reportedly for health check up.

Similarly Nepali Congress lawmaker Bimalendra Nidhi also flew out of the country to an unknown destination for an unknown period brushing aside party ruling.

Both NC and UML had issued circulars to party lawmakers to remain in the capital considering the approaching deadline of the Constituent Assembly (CA).
