UML Chairperson’s report underlines protest to break deadlock

Alleging that the current government is moving towards authoritarianism, CPN (UML) Chairperson Jhalanath Khanal has underlined the need of street protest to break the current deadlock.
Khanal stated this in the political report that he presented at a meeting of the central committee of the CPN (UML) that commenced from today at party central office Balkhu Kathmandu.
According to the party’s politburo member, Prakash Jwala, Khanal’s report outlines a roadmap that includes proposal for constituting a national unity government and that government fixing a new date for the general election by resolving the constitutional and legal complexities and making appointments to the different vacant constitutional posts. It also states that the new national unity government should bring a budget and program.
The deliberations of the Central Committee Members on the report will begin from tomorrow, informed Jwala.
