UML caps leaders detours

KATHMANDU: Following criticism, the CPN UML has restricted its lawmakers from foreign visits unless the peace and constitution writing process are completed.

The parliamentary party committee took the decision to the effect on Thursday following proposal from the leader Yamlal Kandel.

The decision has brought party’s General Secretary Ishwor Pokhrel, leaders Bhim Rawal, Pradip Gyawali’s proposed tour to Switzerland along with other three party leaders slated for Friday.
