According to Coordinator of Extended Meeting Publicity Sub-Committee, Bishwo Bhakta Dulal, the meeting was put off until 3:00 pm as preparations of the meeting were underway and some processes have to be completed.

The meeting was put off on Wednesday after representatives of the ex-combatants choosing voluntary retirement and the Young Communist League (YCL) chanted slogans in the meeting hall in connection with group discussions of the Extended Meeting putting forth 11-point demands including financial transactions within the cantonments be made transparent, guilty of irregularities be suspended and investigated, lifetime subsistence allowance be given to those injured during the conflict and concrete and practical plan of party reforms be presented in the Extended Meeting, among others.
