UCPN-Maoist calls all-party meeting

KATHMANDU: The UCPN-Maoist has called an all-party meeting at 4:00 pm today to hold discussion on budget and for making an end to the political stalemate.
Political parties including the Nepali Congress and CPN-UML have already boycotted the all-party meeting called by Prime Minister Dr. Baburam Bhattarai this morning.

Leaders of the ruling parties, who participated in the meeting, urged Chairman of the UCPN-Maoist, Pushpa Kamal Dahal, for calling the all-party meeting on behalf of the largest party and gave the responsibility to him for the same.
According to Chief Political Advisor of the Prime Minister, Devendra Paudel, the meeting will be held at the building of the Constituent Assembly (CA).
Meanwhile, it is learnt that Dahal has made a phone call to President of the NC and Chairman of the CPN-UML and invited them to participate in the meeting. RSS
