Two devotee families donate Rs 2 million to Krishna Temple

BAGLUNG: Families of Gopal Baidhya and Hasmaya Shrestha have donated one million rupees each to a temple here. Baidhya was born in Baglung and currently living in Pokhara while Shrestha is a resident of Baglung.

Baidhya and Shrestha families provided the financial assistance to the Radhakrishna temple, which was constructed in Baglung municipality-2 in 1997 BS, said Chairperson of Radhakrishna Temple Sewa Samiti, Kul Prasad Shrestha.

The families donated the amount on Wednesday in a Biswoshanti Gyan Mahayagya organized on the occasion of Krishna Janmaastami, the day lord Krishna born.

The Mahayagya has been organized since August 3 to raise fund for the set-up of a religious library and construction of guest house. RSS
