Two Chairs given responsibility for organisational unification

KATHMANDU: The Communist Party of Nepal (CPN) Secretariat meeting has decided to entrust the two chairs of the party to develop the proposal of organisational unification of the unified party.
The meeting held at the PM’s Baluwatar residence on Thursday decided that the chairs KP Sharma Oli and Pushpa Kamal Dahal will present the proposal in the next secretariat meeting, according to the CPN Spokesperson Narayan Kaji Shrestha. The responsibility to come up with a standard for the same was given to the two chairs after the secretariat meeting held for two days failed to come to a decision.
The proposal from the two chairs will be presented before the Standing Committee meeting. The organisational unification process will move ahead after the Committee endorses the proposal, Shrestha said. The two chairs will be meeting on Friday morning to discuss the matter further. RSS
