Tribhuvan Army Club defeats State 2 by 113 runs in PM Cup One-Day Cricket Tournament

KATHMANDU: Departmental Tribhuvan Army Club secured two consecutive wins with a 113 runs victory over State 1 in a match of the Prime Minister Cup One-Day National Cricket Tournament at the Tribhuvan University Cricket International Ground.
State 1 was limited to mere 91 runs in 26.5 overs losing all wickets in the chase of the 205 runs target posted by Tribhuvan Army Club. For State 1, Rajan Magar hit the highest 26 runs, while Mukunda Yadav 18 and Rabi Roya 10. For Tribhuvan Army Club, Sushan Bhari took a hat trick. He claimed all three wickets in 26 overs. Likewise, Karan KC took two wickets.
Elected into bat after winning the toss, Tribhuvan Army Club made 204 runs in 45.3 overs at the loss of all wickets. Rajesh Pulami hit highest 56 runs for Tribhuvan Army Club, while Hari Bahadur Chauhan contributed 41. Similarly, Captain Binod Bhandari made 30, Karan KC 26 and Kushal Malla 16.
For State 1, Dipesh Kandel took 3 wickets. Likewise, Siddhanta Lohani, Phirdos Ansari and Mukunda Yadav claimed two each. In its first match on Saturday, Tribhuvan Army Club defeated State 2 by 171 runs.
In another match at the Mulpani Cricket Stadium, departmental Nepal Police Club defeated Karnali State by 94 runs.
