Tourists attracted towards community trekking

PunhillMYAGDI: Score of foreign tourists arriving here via Annapurna-Dhaulagiri community trekking route has gone up.
Tourists are increasingly attracted to come to Myagdi through the eco trekking route that was brought into operation linking rural villages of Myagdi and Parbat.
Number of foreign tourists using the trekking route has increased over the time, said trekking route manager Chitra Tilija Pun.
The route was brought into operation including seven villages of Myagdi and two villages of Parbat on the initiative of social activist mahabir Pun and with the financial assistance of Micro-enterprises Development Programme.
Mostly tourists from Germany, the United States, Australia, the United Kingdom and France, among others, come to enjoy trekking in the area.
