TMLP decides to quit government

KATHMANDU: Terai Madhesh Loktantrik Party has decided to quit the government expressing its dissatisfaction over the 11 province model agreed between three lead parties recently.

During a Central Committee meeting of the party, party spokesperson Ramashashi Prasad Gupta had urged party president Mahendra Prasad Yadav to quit the government.

Responding after the meeting, Gupta informed that the party has decided to launch agitation against the deal by resigning from the government.
