Thapa’s health improving: doctors

KATHMANDU: The health condition of president of the Rastriya Janashakti Party (RJP) Surya Bahadur Thapa has seen notable improvement.

The former prime minister who is undergoing treatment at the Norvic International Hospital at Thapathali after suffering a heart attack on June 9 even took black tea and biscuit this morning, according to Kiran Giri, joint spokesman of the RJP.

The octogenarian leader had taken soup on Sunday evening. Giri also said that this morning leader Thapa also had a chat with the party leaders, cadres and relatives this morning.

A team of specialists from India had fitted pace-maker on Thapa through an operation on Sunday morning. RSS
