Sushil stresses on following BP’s roadmap
KATHMANDU: President of the Nepali Congress, Sushil Koirala, has said that the road map of nationalism, democracy and socialism forwarded by Jananayak Bishweshwor Prasad Koirala will move the country ahead towards prosperity.
Laying the foundation stone of a building of Nepal Civil Servant’s Union Central Office, on the occasion of the 30th Memorial Day of BP Koirala, the NC president urged the office bearers of the union not to engage in disputes in this complex situation of the country.
He said he heard that the Union has been divided into two factions and stressed on the need of making the organization stronger by holding discussions among themselves if there are any problems.
Koirala further said that the party will always support the unions, which are devoted to democracy and nationality and are committed to professional welfare of the employees.
The building is going to be constructed at the premises of the Department of Forests, Babarmahal, in one ropani of land.
It is said that there will be 22 rooms including for seminar hall, guesthouse, canteen and library in the four-storey building.The cost of construction of the building is estimated to be Rs. 21.5 million.
Chairman of the Union, Subodh Kumar Devkota, said that the construction will be completed within the next 16 months. RSS
