SK, BKG test each other on no-confidence motion
KATHMANDU: Deputy Prime Minister and Chairman of Madhesi Janadhikar Forum (Democratic) Bijay Kumar Gachchhadar has asked President of Nepali Congress (NC) Sushil Koirala regarding the latter’s stance on formation of the national consensus government.
During the meeting held at Koirala’s at residence, Maharajgunj, the leaders discussed regarding the no confidence motion against the government as planned by the NC and the conflicting issues in the new constitution, Gachchhadar told reporters after the meeting.
Gachchhadar said NC’s preparations regarding the formation of the national unity government and its legal and theoretical aspects were sought from Koirala.
On the occasion, Koirala urged Gachchhadar to support for the formation of the national unity government adding that he was holding parleys with others to this effect.
Earlier November 1, major political parties had agreed to form the national unity government. RSS
