Sitaula says Congress ready to lead guv

BHADRAPUR: General Secretary of the Nepali Congress, Krishna Prasad Sitaula, has said the Nepali Congress would join the government if the parties forged the national consensus.

Addressing a district level cadres’ gathering at Birtamod of Jhapa today, general secretary Sitaula claimed that the Nepali Congress’s aim was to abolish monarchy, bring Maoists to peace process and write democratic constitution by the people’s representatives.

He made it clear that the Nepali Congress was not against federalism. RSS
