Shristhi crowned Miss Nepal 2012

KATHMANDU: Nursing and fashion model, who has made on the cover some internationally recognized fashion magazines, Shristhi Shrestha (23), bagged the 2012 edition of Miss Nepal. 5’9″ tall Shristhi was crowned amid a special ceremony held at Hotel Annapurna in the capital on Sunday evening.

Shrestha beat out 15 other finalists in the countdown and was passed on the crown by her predecessor Miss Nepal 2011 Malina Joshi.  Similarly, Nagma Shrestha was crowned first runner up Miss Nepal International and Aura Gurung who was declared second runner up was passed on the crown of Miss Earth 2012.

Shrestha was also crowned, “Miss Confident” and “Miss Beautiful Smile”. Along with other titles Miss Nepal 2012 will also be a goodwill ambassador for World Wildlife Fund for Nature, Nepal.
