Sankata beat Gorkha Boys Rupandehi 2-0 in Khaptad Gold Cup

DHANGADHI: CMG Club Sankata entered the quarterfinals by defeating Gorkha Boys Rupandehi 2-0 in a match under the ongoing Nepal Ice International Far West Khaptad Gold Cup at Dhangadhi stadium on Friday.
Sankata led the match with a goal from Jaya Gurung in the first minute of stoppage time in the first half. It neared a win as Alon Maxwell scored the second goal for Sankata in the 83rd minute, which later turned out to be the winning goal. The quarterfinals will start from tomorrow (Saturday). In the first match of the quarterfinals, Nepal APF Club and Mechi Netralaya Kakadvitta Training Centre are competing.
