Sacks of war-time explosives found in cave
KAILALI: Armed Police Force (APF) on Monday found huge quantity of war materials from a forest of Sugarkhal VDC-9, Bhalumar in the north-east mountainous belt of Kailali.
An APF team recovered the war materials and device packed in four sacks in a big cave in the mid part of the forest, said Deputy Inspector General of APF Baidhyanath Battalion, Kamal Basnyat.
Among the armored materials recovered from the cave were 286 nine-mm bullets, 519 bullets of 7.62-mm, 1937 bullets of 5.56-mm, seven SMG magazines, 27 M-18 magazines, 23 magazines of rifles, six LMG magazines and 57 SLR magazines. RSS
