Ruling Maoist to ‘adopt maximum flexibility’ for consensus

KATHMANDU:
While the deadline set by the President for the parties to forge political consensus among the parties is going to end tomorrow, the main ruling partyUCPN (Maoist) has decided to adopt the maximum flexibility for finding a way out for the current political deadlock.
A meeting of the dissolved standing committee of the party held at party chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal’s residence today decided to demonstrate the maximum flexibility for a way out of the political deadlock.
Talking to media persons after the meeting, party vice-chairman and Deputy Prime Minister, Narayan Kaji Shrestha, said that his party has been adopting flexibility for reaching political consensus since the past and it has decided to continue doing so.
“We are very sensitive regarding finding a political way out and like our party the opposition parties too should be serious about this,” he said.
Likewise, the meeting also entrusted the responsibility of forging consensus among the parties to party chairman Dahal, vice –chairman duo Dr Baburam Bhattarai and Narayan Kaji Shrestha, and secretary Posta Bahadur Bogati.
