RPP-N defers its chariot rally

Kathmandu, Mar. 10: The Rastriya Prajatantra Party -Nepal has postponed its planned countrywide chariot-pulling which was said to begin on March 31.

Party Spokesman Rajaram Shrestha said it was postponed saying increasing constitutional crisis in the country and delays in peace and constitution making.

The chariot pulling was criticized as RPP- Nepal has been demanding constitutional monarchy.

Although it was planned for pressuring to reach peace and constitution to logical end, it was stopped in view of the latest political situation by the decision of the Central Business Performance Committee meeting of the party.

The party had planned chariot pulling covering major shrines in Janakpur, Lumbini, and Bindhyabasini of Pokhara to Pashupatinath temple in Kathmandu. RSS
