RJP president Thapa returns home
KATHMANDU: President of the Rastriya Janashakti Party (RJP), Surya Bahadur Thapa, returned home today after recuperating at the Norvic Hospital in Thapathali.
He was admitted to the hospital after he suddenly fell unconscious while chairing the joint work execution committee meeting of the Rastriya Prajatantra Party and the RJP on June 9.
Senior physicians Dr Bharat Rawat and a team of senior cardiologists from India comprising Dr RR Kasliwal and Dr Nagendra Chauhan had provided treatment to the octogenarian leader.
A pace-maker has been implanted on Thapa through an operation. He has fully recovered his health now, according to his son, Sunil Thapa.
