Revelers robbed by bandits
JANAKPUR: The members of a marriage procession have been looted here last night. The groom’s party was going towards the bride’s parental home at local Malhaniya Tol when it was looted by bandits at a desolate place between Phulbariya and Malahaniya.
The bandits beat the groom’s father Bishnudev Lahutiya and made away with cash and valuables. The three bandits made away with their loot on a motorcycle bearing Indian registration number DRF 6059, it is said.
The locals managed to arrest one of the looters, Lalit Yadav, during a scuffle between the bandits and the locals who tried to stop them. RSS
