Raut reiterates his commitment for province development
DHANUSHA: Chief Minister of Province No. 2 Lalbabu Raut has said that province government was formed in Province 2 as per the people’s aspirations after the establishment of federalism in the country based on the Madhes Movement.
Handing over a bank cheque of assistance amount to the injured of Madhes Movement Bijaya Kumar Thakur in Pipara of Mahottari district on Monday, the chief minister said that the martyrs’ families would be given employment opportunities based on their qualification and capacity.
On the occasion, Raut accused the federal government of making efforts to weaken federalism by creating obstacles to the province government’s duty to maintain law and order, and in development agendas.
He, however, said that the province police bill and contract bill would be passed from the province assembly soon and the laws would pave way to implement all laws as per the constitution.
Likewise, Chief Minister Raut inspected diarrhea-hit area of Nainhi in Jaleshwor Municipality-12, Mahottari and announced to provide Rs 100,000 each to the families, who lost their loved ones to diarrhea recently.
On the occasion, the chief minister urged all people to maintain hygiene adding that such diseases break out due to poor personal and community hygiene.
