Rashtriya Janmukti Party mulls calling off banda

KATHMANDU: Partner in the ruling coalition, Rastriya Janamukti Party (RJP) is mulling on calling off the band called by it demanding implementation of the past agreements with the government and guaranteeing of ethnic based federalism.
The party’s office bearers are presently discussing their agendas for the meeting with the government slated later today.
Earlier the PM had directed RJP to call off its band stating as a ruling partner it cannot implement the band.
Labor and Transport Minister M S Thapa, who represents the party in the government said that the party will call off its band after discussing terms with the government.
