Qatar provides food items worth Rs 150 million to NRNA
DOHA:- The Qatari government has provided food items worth over Rs 150 million to Non-Resident Nepali Association (NRNA) so as to cater relief to the needy Nepalese in Qatar.
The in-kind support including 7,000 food packets is targeted to the Nepali migrant workers who have been jobless since the COVID-19 crisis loomed across the world including the Gulf countries.
NRNA President Kumar Panta shared that the food items were handed over to its Qatar’s branch. There are estimated 350 thousand Nepalis working in Qatar in various capacities.
