Pushpa Bhusal, Dr Shibamaya Tumbahamphe register candidacies for deputy-speaker

KATHMANDU: The major ruling party CPN (UML) and the main opposition Nepali Congress have fielded candidates for the election of the Deputy-Speaker to be held Friday.
CPN (UML)’s Dr Shibamaya Tumbahamphe, and NC’s Pushpa Bhusal Gautam registered their candidacies today.
The candidacy of UML is proposed by Dev Prasad Gurung of CPN (Maoist Centre) while UML’s Rabindra Prasad Adhikari seconded it. Dr Deela Sangroula is the proposer of Bhusal’s candidacy, while Devendra Raj Kandel backed it, said Federal Parliament Secretariat Spokesperson Dr Bharat Raj Gautam.
The Secretariat has fixed the election for 1:00 pm tomorrow. RSS
