POKHARA: Nepali Congress Senior Leader Sher Bahadur Deuba has claimed that the protest program launched by the opposition parties was not intended for the state power.
Speaking at the party’s program organized here today, he said that the street protests organized by the opposition parties would exert pressure to topple the current government that was guided by totalitarian mindset.
Stressing the need of promulgating the constitution by holding the election within May, Leader Deuwa, who is also a former Prime Minister, reiterated that the national consensus government and the constituent assembly election were not possible unless the government led by Dr. Baburam Bhattarai was toppled.
