Nepali Congress President Sushil Koirala has claimed that the protest launched by the opposition parties is not intended to gain the leadership of the government.
Speaking at the press meet organized by the Nepal Press Union in Dang today, Koirala argued that the street protest was for holding the new election of the Constituent Assembly.
He also said that Congress is reaching to the people to collect the people’s mandate for the election. “Consensus and cooperation is not in the mind of the Maoist. They are deceiving and cheating the people so we have taken to the street to make the people clear about the Maoist’s intention, ” Koirala noted.
