Prez can’t remove current govt, claims Irrigation Minister

Minister for Irrigation Mahendra Ray Yadav has warned the President Dr Ram Baran Yadav that the latter would lose his position if he tries to remove the current government.
Speaking with the journalists here today, Minister Yadav, who is also Chairman of Terai Madhes Democratic Party Nepal, claimed that the current government itself would lead the election government.
He alleged that the NC and UML were not for federalism though the only way to settle the current political crisis was federalism and writing new constitution from the Constituent Assembly.
