President summons parties’ leaders for tomorrow morning
President Dr Ram Baran Yadav has summoned the leaders of the major four political forces- UCPN (Maoist), Nepali Congress, CPN (UML) and United Democratic Madhesi Front (UDMF)- for a meeting tomorrow to discuss about his further step after the parties have missed the deadline twice set by him to recommend the Prime Minister Candidate of national consensus.
President has been saying that he would take any moves according to the political parties’ advice. As the meeting of major four political forces held earlier today have concluded to request the President to extend the deadline for third time , President is likely to grant another extension to the parties to come up with the national consensus.
The second-time deadline given by President Dr. Ram Baran Yadav to the political parties to pick an appropriate prime ministerial candidate for the formation of a national unity government has ended today without parties meeting the goal.
Although they decided to inform the President about the meeting decision by Thursday evening, President Dr Yadav has given them a time for Friday morning citing his busy schedule for today.
President’s Press Advisor Rajendra Dahal said the deadline given by the President naturally expired today as the parties would meet the President tomorrow only.
