Political and constitutional battle until PM steps down: Dr Mahat
Nepali Congress central member Dr Ram Sharan Mahat has said opposition parties would fight from constitutional and political front until Prime Minister Dr Baburam Bhattarai steps down from the post.
Addressing a program organized at Ganeshsthan VDC in Nuwakot on Saturday, he insisted that the street-based struggle is the only way to topple the government since Maoists have nurtured autocratic tendency to stay in the power by putting the country on hostage.
He said that the Congress has kept the door open for dialogue and consensus even while going for street struggle.
