‘PM Should not resign without any alternative’

KATHMANDU: CPN-Masal has said Prime Minister Dr. Baburam Bhattarai should not resign from his post until an alternative of national consensus is developed.

A politburo meeting of the party held on April 18-19 drew a conclusion that the dissolution of the incumbent government will herald a caretaker government for a prolonged time.

‘A caretaker government will persist for a long time when the present government resigns before forging consensus on alternative government or constitution making. It will invite danger that the Constituent Assembly (CA) tenure will end without yielding constitution with the change in the government’, states a pres release issued by party general secretary Mohan Bikram Singh.

He also made it clear that hi party is against the proposal of ethnic federalism and delineating federal states by only including the Madhes. RSS
