PM promises constitution by May 27

KATHMANDU: Prime Minister Baburam Bhattarai has promised that the nation would get the new constitution by  the May 27 deadline.

The PM further added the outstanding issues related to Peace process would be concluded within some days and that he is confident “that the twin tasks of peace and constitution will be completed by May 27.”

The PM said that the new constitution will be democratic and as per the wishes of the Nepalese people while addressing an assembly of the Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry in the Capital on Friday.

On the occasion, he reiterated his vision to take the nation on the way to economic development and stressed on the role of private and public partnership in developing the nation.
