PLA combatants vacate first division

ILLAM: The works for shifting Maoist combatants of the satellite cantonments, under the first division of the PLA combatants at Chulachuli in Ilam district, have been completed.

PLA combatants of Danabari in Ilam district and Yangshila of Morang district under the first division were shifted.

A total of 166 combatants of Danabari satellite cantonment were shifted to Chulachuli and 143 of Yangshila satellite cantonment were shifted to Tandi camp.

According to commander of the first division, Yam Bahadur Adhikari (Pratiksha), the satellite cantonments were vacated by Sunday afternoon.

A team under the leadership of member of the Army Integration Special Committee, Dr Shambhu Sinkhada had started the works from Thursday.

A security team with 50 members under the leadership of APF inspector has been assigned for security at the Danabari cantonment on Sunday afternoon, said APF Superintendent of Police at Pathivara Battalion, Lakhanpur, Rajendra Shakya. RSS
