Party unification taskforce gets 10 more days
KATHMANDU: The taskforce formed to work out on the organization of the party unification of CPN (UML) and Maoist Centre has suggested the party unification coordination committee to give 10 more days to draft the interim statute.
The taskforce headed by leader Ram Bahadur Thapa ‘Badal’ has initiated clause-wise discussions on draft of the interim statute and the time is sought since the job is time consuming, member of taskforce Girirajmani Pokharel said.
He also said that the issue would be troubleshot after holding discussions on every day.
Earlier, the party unification coordination committee had formed the taskforce to submit the report within 15 days regarding the interim statute and organizational unity of the two parties.
Likewise, Madhav Nepal-led taskforce is also preparing to submit its report by 19 March to determine the ideological issues.
