Party Chair and PP leader not same: Leader Thapa
CHITWAN: Nepali Congress leader Gagan Thapa has said that it would not be right for the same person to hold the post of party chair and parliamentary party leader in the present situation.
Talking to media persons here today, he said as the party needs to be taken back to the previous situation and the communist government with almost a two-third majority to be defended strongly, one individual cannot perform both the jobs.
He also said that as an opposition party the NC will check whether the government is running as per the norms of the constitution, while supporting and protesting it based on its performance.
