Pandit and Thapa appointed Ministers
KATHMANDU: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has appointed Lal Babu Pandit as the Minister for Population and Environment, and Tham Maya Thapa as Minister for Women, Children and Social Welfare.
President Bidya Devi Bhandari administered the oath of office and secrecy to the newly appointed Ministers Thursday itself.
Minister Pandit has already served as the Minister for General Administration in the past. The ceremony was attended by former Prime Ministers, leaders, Chiefs of the constitutional bodies and of security agencies, high level employees, and representatives of the diplomatic missions in Kathmandu.
