Oppositions’ protest begin from today; Govn bringing budget tomorrow
As part of the first phase of joint agitation by 15 opposition parties including the main opposition parties Nepali Congress and CPN-UML, an interaction program with the civil society representatives in going to be held today at the Central Office of NC at Sanepa, Lalitpur, in the daytime.
The interaction is being held in a bid to solicit the support of civil society for the agitation of the opposition parties for dislodging the Dr Baburam Bhattari led government and pave the way of national consensus government.
Likewise, the CPN- UML’s valley-based district committees will organize workers’ gatherings tomorrow in preparation of the agitation.
While the opposition parties are organizing the publicity programs as per the joint agitation, the government is preparing to send the budget ordinance to the President Dr Ram Baran Yadav on Sunday for the endorsement.
Talking with the BBC Nepali Service on Friday, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Narayan Kaji Shrestha informed that the government will unveil the full-fledged budget at any cost.
