Oppositions’ agitation kicks off from Dailekh
Six political parties have announced a protest movement against the government here today starting what they called the struggle for justice and declaration of the Third People’s Movement.
Vice-chairman of the CPN (UML), Bamdev Gautam, central member of the Nepali Congress, Dr. Ram Sharan Mahat, Janak Sharma of the Rastriya Janamorcha, Thakur Sharma of the CPN (United), Gopalmani Gautam of the CPN (ML), Govinda Bikram Shah of the Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) declared the start of the people’s movement, alleging the present government of despotism.
They rapped the government for violating the fundamental rights and the human rights and said that they have come to Dailekh to initiate a people’s movement for ensuring justice to the people deprived of the same.
Vice-chairman of the CPN (UML) Bamdev Guatam said that the present government has made a mockery of the rule of law.
Nepali Congress leader Dr. Ram Sharan Mahat alleged that the UCPN (Maoist) also was trying to impose its dictatorship in the absence of parliament and praised the people of Dailekh for continuously raising their voice against injustices and initiating a movement against the same.
Alleging that the present government was singularly trying to capture state power, he said a new dictator albeit without a crown has taken birth in the country at present.
