“Opposition parties lost mental stability”
UCPN (Maoist) Chairperson Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ has alleged that the opposition parties have lost their mental stability. Speaking at the Fifth Convention of UCPN-Maoist, Bhaktapur, here today, he also accussed the opposition parties of being guided by traditional mindset.
“The democratic face of the opposition parties including the NC and UML was exposed from their efforts of disrupting the UCPN-Maoist program in Dailekh by mobilizing the anti-political crowd,” said Prachanda.
Prachanda also claimed that his party was ready to quit the government if the election was assured by May 28. “The CA election should be held by May 28 at any cost, the UCPN-Maoist is ready to quit the government.” he said urging the CPN (UML) and the Nepali Congress (NC) to present any independent person as a candidate for the new prime minister.
During the program Prime Minister and UCPN-Maoist Vice-chairman Dr. Baburam said, “So many people lost their lives in the national insurgency, the media workers should be aware that the opposition parties have been attempting to disturb the peace process raising one or two incidents of the conflict period.”
