Oppn parties’ announce ‘no entry’ to PM in Dailekh

Protesting against the Prime Minister Dr Baburam Bhattarai to instruct the prosecutors for halting the investigation of the murder case of Journalist Dekendra Thapa, the opposition parties in Dailekh have announced to prohibit him from entering Dailekh. The opposition parties have also called Dailekh bandha (shutdown) from Monday to Tuesday afternoon. Holding a press conference in Dailekh today, they have announced the shutdown of transportation, factories, business and educational institutions. During the press meet, the main opposition party Nepali Congress Dailekh President Krishna BC informed that they wouldn’t let the PM to enter the district at any cost.
The opposition parties have taken decision of prohibiting PM Dr Bhattarai on the wake of ruling UCPN (Maoist)’s Dailekh’s district convention set to be inaugurated by Prime Minister Dr Bhattarai on Wednesday. PM Dr Bhattarai and Deputy PM Narayan Kaji Shrestha are scheduled to arrive Dailekh for the district convention of their party.
However, the opposition parties have claimed that their protest is not intended against the Maoist’s and its district convention, but to protest against the Prime Minister and the government for their intervention on the ongoing investigation process of the Journalist Thapa’s murder case.
