One dies of dengue, 73 infected in Southeast Nepal
MAHOTTARI: A person has died of dengue and 73 others have been infected with the disease as of today in State 2, Southeast Nepal, said the State Health Directorate. The deceased has been identified as Ram Narayan Mandal, 31, of Saptakoshi municipality-11 in Saptari district.
All the infected people have been receiving treatment at local hospitals and health institutions, said Bijaya Kumar Jha, senior health administrator at the Directorate. Following the outbreak of dengue, all districts of the state have launched awareness campaigns.
